10034869 | Zebra PolyPro 4000T — Heavy-Duty Matte Polypropylene Thermal Transfer Labels for Packaging, Pallets and Shelf Edges
Zebra PolyPro 4000T is a thermal transfer label made from a matte topcoated polypropylene face with a High-Tack adhesive on a semi-bleached kraft liner, for a total thickness of about 8.2 mil. It is tear and water resistant, BPA free, and uses a latex-free adhesive. Because the face is polypropylene, labels can be recycled along with other polypropylene packaging.
After application, the 4000T holds a service range of -65°F to 248°F, covering cold and deep-freeze storage as well as warm environments. Printed with Zebra 3200 ribbon, it is rated for weak, moderate, and harsh chemicals, including alcohol, bleach, gasoline, grease, and oil. The adhesive complies with FDA 175.105 for indirect food contact when separated by a functional barrier, and it bonds strongly to steel, polycarbonate, and polyethylene.
Zebra recommends the 4000T for industrial product labels, pallet wrap labels, shelf edge labels, and medium-life product and box labels. It works on most packaging materials and plastic substrates, making it a practical single label stock for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturers labeling a mix of packaging types.

PolyPro 4000T Ribbon, Printer & Ordering Guidance
The 4000T requires a thermal transfer printer and ribbon. Zebra recommends its 3200, 4800, and 5095 ribbons; choose 3200 for the documented chemical resistance, or test 4800 and 5095 in your application. Desktop, mid-range, and high-performance Zebra printers that accept a 3" Core all support this label.
Apply labels at 45°F or above, then allow about 24 hours of dwell before moving them into cold or deep-freeze storage. Labels store for 1 year at 72°F and 50% RH.
