Senitron RFID Inventory & Asset Tracking Software
Athena, ERC and ELC — RFID Counting, Tracking and Warehouse Operations for Retailers, Warehouses, Manufacturers and Healthcare Facilities.
THE SHORT ANSWER
Senitron is cloud-based RFID software that tracks inventory and assets for retailers, warehouses and manufacturers. It runs on handheld and fixed UHF RFID readers and works with any POS or ERP — including NetSuite, Acumatica, Shopify and Lightspeed. Print interception turns labels your system already prints into RFID labels, with no custom development.
Works With What You Have
Print interception makes your existing POS or ERP RFID-capable without custom development — it keeps printing the same label, now with a chip inside it.
Counts Without the Shutdown
One person walking with a handheld reads up to 900 tags a second, so a count that used to take a weekend and a crew happens while the doors stay open.
Mapping Without Infrastructure
Athena draws item locations on your floorplan using handheld readers and numbered marker tags — no fixed-reader infrastructure required to see where something is.
UNDERSTAND
What Senitron Does
Count and Correct Without Shutting Down
-
Walk-Through Counts
Read an aisle, a stockroom or a trailer by walking it with a handheld, at up to 900 tags a second.
-
Compare and Sync
Put the count beside what your POS or ERP thinks you have, see the discrepancies, and push the corrected quantities back in one step.
-
Find One Item
Narrow in on a single item with the handheld’s proximity finder, or look it up on the floorplan and walk straight to it.
Keep Printing From Your Own System
-
Print Interception
Senitron catches the label your POS or ERP sends to the printer and issues an RFID version of it. Nothing in your system changes.
-
Scan-to-Print Relabeling
Scan the barcode already on an item and an RFID equivalent prints on the spot, so existing stock gets tagged without a data project.
-
Bulk Encoding
Encode pre-made tags on an encoder pad from the Athena dashboard when items arrive untagged.
Catch What Moves or Goes Missing
-
Movement Alerts
Fixed readers at doors, docks and zone boundaries log movement and send a text or email when tagged stock leaves through a door it shouldn’t.
-
Misplaced Items
See which items are sitting in the wrong place, where they are now, and where they belong.
-
Receiving Audits
A shipment audits itself as it is read in, and an escalation email goes out when items never arrive.
Track People as Well as Stock
-
Badge Check-Ins
RFID badges record who was on the property and which checkpoints were walked.
-
Mustering Records
Account for everyone quickly when a building is evacuated.
-
Labor Against Work Orders
ELC ties production time back to the work order it was spent on, for operations running direct or temp labor on a line.
QUALIFY
Who Senitron Is For
Senitron publishes no minimum item count. In practice the economics start working at a warehouse of roughly 5,000 sq ft and up, at two or more retail locations, or at a single store of about 5,000 sq ft or more — anywhere counting by hand costs a shift.
WHO SENITRON FITS
-
Multi-Site Retail
Two or more locations where nobody can be in every building to know what is actually on the shelf.
-
Warehouses and DCs
Operations from about 5,000 sq ft up where a full count means overtime or a shutdown.
-
Lot and FIFO Manufacturing
Makers and distributors working to lot numbers, expiration dates or FIFO rules they have to prove they followed.
-
Hospital and Campus Equipment
Facilities losing hours looking for equipment that moved between floors or buildings.
-
Yards and Outdoor Storage
Tagged material stored outside, and trailers and loads moving across a yard.
-
Labs and Pharmacies
Freezer capacity and sample custody, where the question is which cold zone something is in and how long it has been there.
When Something Else Fits Better
A single store under roughly 2,000 sq ft with simple, low-volume inventory. RFID is more tool than that job needs, and a barcode cycle-count routine pays back faster.
A fixed-asset register for the finance team — depreciation schedules, capitalization, audit trails for the books. That is asset accounting software, and it is a different product. Tell us on the call.
Continuous live positioning of people or equipment. Passive RFID tells you the zone something was last seen in, not where it is standing right now. That is an active RTLS project, a different budget and scope.
Replacing your ERP. ERC runs alongside an ERP and feeds it; it does not replace one.

Senitron Products & Deployment Scope
Every business is unique, so each deployment is scoped and quoted to the specific needs of the operation. Three things decide which Senitron product you need: whether you are counting and finding things or running the floor on RFID, whether lot, expiry or FIFO rules apply, and whether you need to account for labor as well as material. The products are licensed separately rather than stacked as tiers.
Athena
INCLUDES
The core RFID platform: counting, compare-and-sync to your POS or ERP, proximity finder, floorplan mapping with marker tags, transfer slips, misplaced-item detection, movement and exit alerts, receiving audits, print interception and encoding.
Not included: Automatic zone-to-zone movement logging without fixed readers; production work orders and quality holds, which are ERC.
WHO IT FITS
Retailers, warehouses, hospitals and campuses that need to know what they have and where it is.
ERC — Resource Control
INCLUDES
RFID-driven receiving, returns, quality holds, disposals, FIFO picking, quick-ship, work-order scheduling and staging, and material planning, connected to your existing ERP.
Not included: Replacing your ERP — ERC bolts onto the one you run.
WHO IT FITS
Manufacturers and distributors working to lot numbers, expiry dates or FIFO rules.
ELC — Labor Control
INCLUDES
Real-time direct-labor tracking by RFID badge at the production line, with line-level dashboards and variance alerts against the work order.
Not included: Material counting and location, which is Athena.
WHO IT FITS
Manufacturers running direct or temp labor on a line who cannot tie labor cost back to the work order.
ADD-ONS AND DEPLOYMENT
Cold Storage for Labs
A configuration of Athena for labs, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare facilities: freezer and cold-zone registration, capacity views, sample check-in, storage and retrieval requests, and alerts when something has been stored longer than intended.
ShipHawk Shipment Monitoring
Carton and pallet validation at the dock with over- and under-ship alerts. Senitron lists it alongside its own software; treat it as an integration rather than a Senitron product until confirmed. [CONFIRM: Senitron product or partner?]
Fixed Readers
Added to any Athena deployment to log movement automatically and raise exit and wrong-zone alerts. Handheld-only deployments work without them; Senitron recommends starting with handhelds and adding fixed readers once tags are on the stock.
Deployment
Cloud-hosted by default and reached in any web browser. Local hosting is available for projects that require it.

CHALLENGE
Common Questions Before Buying Senitron
How a Senitron Rollout Runs
- 01
Scope and Tag Selection
What gets tagged, which tag survives your material and environment, and whether labels can come off your own system.
- 02
Printing and Encoding Set Up
Print interception configured and validated against your POS or ERP, so labels come out with chips in them.
- 03
Tagging Existing Stock
Almost always the longest step. Driven by how many items you hold and whether they can be scan-to-print relabeled.
- 04
Fixed Readers, Where Used
Site survey, then the number of doors, docks and zones to cover and the cabling and network work that goes with them.
TIP
The pace is set by tagging, not by software. Before the scope call, count how many items you hold and check whether your current labels can be reprinted from your own system — those two answers move a rollout more than anything else on this page.
MORE QUESTIONS BUYERS ASK
Will It Work With the Systems We Already Run?
Senitron is POS- and ERP-agnostic. It publishes integrations for Shopify, Lightspeed, Retail Pro, NCR Counterpoint, QuickBooks POS, Heartland Retail, Treez, NetSuite, Acumatica and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Anything else connects by API or CSV, and print interception can make a system RFID-capable without a built integration at all.
Does RFID Read Reliably Around Metal and Liquid?
Not with the wrong tag, which is why tag selection matters as much as the software. On-metal and ruggedized tags, reader tuning and a site survey handle most environments. We test tags on your own material before you commit — remotely with demo equipment and sample tags, or on site when the project calls for it.
Can We Use the Zebra Devices We Already Own?
Often, if they are on Senitron’s supported list. Send us the model numbers and we will check them against it before you buy anything. [CONFIRM: supported device list]
What Will Our IT Team Need to Approve?
Athena is cloud software reached in a browser over encrypted connections, with local hosting available. Fixed readers report through a small service on your network. Senitron supplies the network and security detail your IT team will ask for.
What Happens When Something Breaks?
Software questions go straight to Senitron. Readers, handhelds, printers, tags and labels come to Advanced Automation. Neither of us makes you wait on the other.
Can We Try It First?
Senitron does not offer a self-serve trial environment. We set up a guided walkthrough instead, so you can see the dashboard, a live read and the sync back to your system against your own kind of inventory before you commit.
Are We Locked In?
The readers are standard UHF RFID hardware and the tags are standard UHF RFID, so both work with other software if you ever move, and your data exports to CSV at any time. [CONFIRM: subscription and renewal terms]
RESOLVE DOUBTS
Senitron FAQ
What Is Senitron?
Senitron Corporation is an RFID software company founded in 2012 and based in Beverly Hills, California. Its Athena platform tracks inventory, assets and people with handheld and fixed RFID readers and syncs counts to your POS or ERP. ERC extends it into warehouse and production operations, ELC into direct-labor tracking, and a cold-storage configuration into labs and pharmacies.
How Much Does Senitron Cost?
Every business is unique, so each deployment is scoped and quoted to the specific needs of the operation. Tell us your sites, what you want tagged and which systems you run, and we will come back with a quote.
Does Senitron Integrate With NetSuite?
Yes. Senitron publishes NetSuite, Acumatica and Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central on the ERP side, and Shopify, Lightspeed, Retail Pro, NCR Counterpoint, QuickBooks POS, Heartland Retail and Treez on the POS side. Anything else connects by API or CSV.
Who Do We Call for Support After We Go Live?
Senitron for the software. Advanced Automation for readers, handhelds, printers, tags and labels. If you are not sure which it is, contact either of us.
What Hardware Do I Need to Start?
An RFID handheld — a sled paired with a mobile computer — an RFID printer and RFID labels. Fixed readers are optional and added later for hands-free tracking, dock monitoring and exit alerts.
Do I Have to RFID-Tag Everything?
No. Senitron also counts barcoded and shelf-tagged items. Most operations tag high-value or high-count items first and leave small, low-value stock on barcodes.
Does RFID Work Around Metal and Liquids?
With the right tags, usually. On-metal and ruggedized tags plus reader tuning handle most environments, and we test tags on your own material before you commit.
What Is the Difference Between Athena, ERC and ELC?
Athena is the core platform — it counts, finds and tracks tagged inventory, assets and badges. ERC runs receiving, quality holds, FIFO picking and work orders for manufacturers and distributors, alongside your ERP. ELC tracks direct labor against the work order.
Can Senitron Track People as Well as Inventory?
Yes. RFID badges record who was on site, which checkpoints were walked, and who is accounted for during an evacuation. Badge reads record the zone a badge was last seen in rather than continuous position, so it answers “who was here” rather than “where is this person right now.”
How Does Senitron Work With the System That Prints Our Labels Today?
Print interception captures the label your system sends to the printer and issues an RFID version of it. Your POS or ERP keeps printing the same label, so nothing has to be re-engineered.
