Description

10010065-EA | Zebra 8000D Jewelry Tag

Zebra 8000D Jewelry (10010065-EA) is a white coated direct thermal polypropylene label with a 1.0 mil permanent acrylic adhesive on a 50 lb. semi-bleached kraft liner. Zebra lists jewelry tags, ring labels, and small cable and wire labeling as its applications. A UV coating gives the facestock good smear and scratch resistance, and Zebra states it adds durability and chemical resistance.

The material prints without a ribbon on direct thermal printers. Labels apply down to -10°F (-23°C) and hold from -40°F to 120°F (-40°C to 49°C). Zebra does not recommend 8000D Jewelry for outdoor use or for exposure to gasoline, grease, oil, or solvents.

8000D Jewelry Features for Ring Tags and Small-Item Labeling

  • Polypropylene facestock: The 3.3 mil synthetic face suits small tags and labels that are handled often.
  • Smear and scratch resistance: Zebra rates the coated facestock for good smear and scratch resistance, which keeps price and barcode data readable through repeated handling at the counter.
  • UV coating: Zebra states the coating provides excellent durability and chemical resistance.
  • Cold application to -10°F: The permanent acrylic adhesive bonds on cold surfaces.
  • Ribbon-free printing: Direct thermal imaging means no ribbon to buy or change.

Choosing the Right 8000D Jewelry Configuration

  • 10010064: Butterfly label without flaps, 2.2" x 0.5", 1" core, 3,510 labels per roll, 6 rolls per case, not perforated, black mark sensing. For jewelry tag layouts that don't use flaps.
  • 10010065: Butterfly label with flaps, 2.1875" x 0.5", 1" core, 3,510 labels per roll, 6 rolls per case, black mark sensing. For jewelry tag layouts that use the flapped butterfly style.
