Zebra Z-Band Fun wristbands are direct thermal, Red polypropylene wristbands built for one-day identification, ticketing, and access control at high-traffic recreation venues. They print on standard Zebra desktop and wristband cartridge printers, letting operators generate barcoded, date-specific, or color-coded bands on demand rather than pre-ordering fixed stock.
Each wristband uses a 4.0-mil direct thermal facestock with a permanent rubber adhesive tab for quick initial tack and lasting closure, plus tamper-evident slits that flag any attempt to remove and reapply the band. The result is a low-cost consumable that holds up through a full day of guest handling while giving venues a verifiable, single-use credential.
Z-Band Fun wristbands are designed for same-day issuance and same-day removal. Barcodes printed on the band can be scanned instantly by staff or at fixed scan points to validate identity, control ride or area access, or confirm ticket tier — supporting both staffed and self-service entry points. Because bands are blank until printed, venues can also produce unique or limited-edition designs and incorporate branding into the layout.
Z-Band Fun wristbands are suited to venues issuing large volumes of one-day, low-water-exposure credentials, including carnivals, amusement parks, fairs and festivals, theme parks, zoos and aquariums, sporting events, concerts, and nightclubs. Common uses include general admission ticketing, ride and area access rights, and color-coded guest categorization.

Available part numbers include 10012712-1 through 10012712-7 (350/roll, 1" core, one per each of the seven colors) and 10012714 series (800/roll, 3" core, perforated). Are Z-Band Fun wristbands waterproof? They are waterproof and resistant to smearing, abrasion, sun lotions and creams, and hand sanitizers, and are designed for minimal water exposure over a one-day use period.
Do these wristbands require a ribbon? No. They use direct thermal printing, so no ribbon is needed.
How long does printed information stay legible? Printed information is legible and scannable for one day, matching the wristband's expected exterior life.
What printers are compatible? Zebra wristband cartridge printers (such as the HC100) and all Zebra 2" and 4" desktop printers, including the GK420d, GX420t, GX430t, and ZD510-HC.
What sizes and colors are available? Each wristband measures 1" x 10" and is available in red, yellow, blue, green, pink, orange, and purple.
