The QuickScan bar code reader series is a bar code scanner with laser technology at an affordable price. This scanner series is lightweight and small with an ergonomic form factor which provides the user with ease of scanning during daily operations. Used in retail and office application environments, the QuickScan Series provides a snappy scanning performance and is capable of reading a wide range of bar codes including the majority of 1D, GS1 DataBar codes (previously known as RSS). Today there is an increased trend towards 2D bar codes, however, linear bar codes are still dominant in the automatic data capture industry.
